Influential podcaster and UFC commentator Joe Rogan has once again caused outrage by commenting on Covid-19, this time saying he was infected with the virus but only faced “a bad day” after taking a lot of drugs , such as ivermectin.

Rogan announced the cancellation of an upcoming comedy show on Wednesday and explained in an Instagram video his latest experience with Covid-19.

After feeling “Very tired” Rogan said he was isolated from his family and later got a Covid test, which came out positive.

“So we threw the kitchen sink right away: all kinds of medicine. Monoclonal antibodies, ivermectin, Z-pack, prednisone-alt. I also got a NAD drop and a vitamin drop, and I did that three days in a row, and here we are on Wednesday, and I’m fine, ” Said Rogan.

Podcasts do not seem particularly affected by the virus, as he has simply stumbled upon his Nashville, Tennessee comedy show until the end of October, claiming that he only faced a bad day when he was ill.

“I really only had one bad day. Sunday sucked. Monday was better. Tuesday felt better than Monday and today I feel good. I feel piss good. That’s the good news. ” he said.

Rogan has sparked controversy when he previously touched on Covid-19, as he has criticized vaccines that were mandated and promoted that inoculation was a private choice for individuals.

Rogan, who promotes drugs not specifically recommended to fight Covid-19 — including Ivermectin, which critics like to point out is a horseworm — has once again sparked outrage on social media. Some claimed “Anti-waxes” star fed the hesitation with vaccines and promoted medical treatments that actually do not work. Rogan’s promotion of Ivermectin became a specific focus for critics, and it tended curiously on Twitter over the comedian’s real name.

Joe Rogan took a bunch of nonsense medicine along with a bunch of real medicine against COVID and wants to feel good because he has endless money, but his example will convince more stupid people to just take horse paste https://t.co/ZI34pVU6XO

Others supported more that Rogan was honest about his experience, regardless of potential criticism.

.@JoeRogan have not spent the last 18 months living in fear (for what for most is a mild cold), he did not hurry to take the experimental wax, he got the virus, he took regular medication, it felt like a mild cold , now he’s fine. Sounds like Joe was right! https://t.co/RlOev6gObd

Rogan thanked “Modern medicine” to help with his recent recovery, even though he did not promote Covid-19 vaccines, as some critics would have hoped. He also did not say whether he had been vaccinated before his positive test.

“Crazy times we live in, but a wonderful, heartfelt thank you to modern medicine for pulling me out of it so quickly and easily," he said.

Rogan caused previous controversy when he said young and healthy people probably do not need Covid-19 vaccines, a position health officials were quick to push back on. However, Rogan also referred to vaccines as “safe” and he said “Encourages many people to take them."

The comedian recently announced that he intends to refund money to ticket buyers for his upcoming Madison Square Garden show in New York City who do not want to be vaccinated. The venue will require vaccinations due to an order from Mayor Bill De Blasio.

“If anyone has an ideological or physiological reason for not being vaccinated, I will not force them to be vaccinated to watch a silly comedy show," Said Rogan.
