The final round of CONCACAF, which qualified for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, kicked off on Thursday, but only one in eight teams was able to secure a victory. While there were draws in the USA against El Salvador (0-0), Panama against Costa Rica (0-0) and Canada against Honduras (1-1), Mexico managed to beat Jamaica with a winner in the 89th minute to move into sole possession of first place in qualifying.

After El Tri went up 1-0 in the 50th minute, they conceded 15 minutes later when Reggae Boyz fielded Estadio Azteca. But it was Henry Martin’s goal from the bench that gave Tata Martin’s men all three points.

Take a look:

With the win, El Tri now have a chance to take command of the qualifiers when they visit Costa Rica on Sunday night.

Paramount + is home to up to 79 matches (including away matches for USMNT) on its platform. Below you will find the full schedule and qualifying format for the World Cup for CONCACAF.

Participants in them will be the winners of the second round pair: El Salvador, Canada and Panama.
